Use a physical copy for the final read through

Take your time proofreading your document

Read aloud to help find errors (this slows you down)

Check that your writing fulfils the purpose of the document

Use Spell Check but don’t rely on it

Use a dictionary where you’re not sure about spelling

Look out for homonyms such as they’re, their, there but also compliment and complement, principal and principle, practise and practice, flair and flare etc…
